UPS guarantees the day of delivery for every ground package you ship to any commercial address in the 48 contiguous states (see Terms and Conditions for details). Service Map colors may vary due to differences in hardware and software. For the scheduled days in transit for ground packages shipped within the 48 contiguous states, please use the ground Time-in-Transit calculator.
Hofer's shipping policy is, if delivery address is not located in the 1 or 2 day areas above, we will ship order UPS 3 day select to ensure product freshness. Nonperishable items, if ordered alone, will be sent ground service unless otherwise requested
Hofer's ships on Mondays only. The weekly order cutoff time is Saturday at 6 pm (EST).
All orders received after this time will be shipped the following week..
NOTE: Hofer's can assume no risk for heat damage due to hot weather and can offer no refunds or replacements. Since we bake with no chemicals or preservatives, mold may occur due to shipping delays, packages left in the sun or other circumstances beyond our control.
We do not ship outside the continental United States.
Shipping and Handling Charges: We will charge you exactly what UPS charges us to ship your package. Please indicate if we are shipping to a business address. It will save you a dollar or two! We charge a handling fee of $5.00 per order to cover the packing materials and paperwork involved.
To figure the UPS Shipping Charge:
1. Use the map above to determine Ground or 3 Day Select Shipping.

3. You will need the following info to accurately calculate the cost. Origin Zip code is 30545 Do not enter anything into dimensions. All our boxes are the correct size. Figure 2 pounds per bread, dozen rolls or pretzels.
How to Place an Order
Hofer's ships on Mondays only. The weekly order cutoff time is Saturday at 6 pm (EST).

Ordering through the Web
Fill out the order form and hit the "submit" button. Your order will be sent to us immediately. Please include your daytime phone number just in case we have a question about your order.
Ordering through the mail
If you do not have a product list and order form, order one through this web page or call 1-800-525-4964 and one will be mailed or faxed to you. Fill out the order form and mail with check, money order or credit card information to: Hofer's Bakery, PO Box 377, Helen, GA 30545
Ordering via Fax
If you do not wish to use your credit card over the internet, call us at 1-800-525-4964 and an order form can be faxed or mailed to you. Fill in the order form and fax it to our order department at 1-706-878-1785. Be sure all the billing, shipping and credit card information is complete. If you have an e-mail address, we will confirm your order via e-mail within 24 hours.
COD orders
Call or fax your order in to us. We will add the UPS COD fee to your bill.
Due to the volatile nature of commodities, we reserve the right to change prices without notice.
